I’m a landscape architect focusing on planting design in public spaces. In practice this means that I concentrate a lot on technical issues as plantbed construction, measurements (making sure there is enough space below and above ground) and maintenance (when the designprocess really gets going). The part that is truly “aesthetically creative”  is of course central, but not that time consuming. My main interest and why I do this, is because I’m interested in people. We all interact with our surroundings, and our surroundings affect our lives. That is why it is so rewarding to be a part of teams that design urban spaces.
